これは何? †

• dyndns : http://www.dyndns.com/
  • 固定IPでないサーバに、ドメイン名を割り付けるサービス
• ddclinet は、定期的(300secごと)に自サイトの IP アドレスを調べて、変更があれば dyndns の登録内容を変更する
• 多くの場合 LAN 内の Server から Router のインターネット側アドレスを調べる必要がある

  • ddclient は、Router の Web 管理コンソールの HTML を解析してインターネット側 IP アドレスを切り出すことができる
  • まぁ、普通は checkip.dyndns.org を使って調べればいいでしょう

自動起動するようにする

[追記] ddclient デーモンがうまく動いていないようなので、cron にも登録する †

• chmod +x 1ddclient を忘れずに
• 昨日、ddclinet がきちんと IP アドレスを更新してくれなかったので、１日このサーバにアクセスできなかった。このサイトは、基本的に自分のための備忘録やコードの断片集なので、ちょっと困った。
• service ddclient status や ps で確認したところ daemon は立ち上がっているのに何でだろ・・・
• daemon モードでなく単発で立ち上げると更新されたので、とりあえず cron で 1時間毎に ddclinet -daemon=0 を起動するようにした。
