サーバ側(Fedora側) †

• iptablesで、xdmcp( tcp 177 / udp 177 )を許可するように設定

  $ sudo /usr/bin/system-config-firewall

  
  ※ iptable だけは、コマンドで設定は勘弁
  
  
• gdm の設定をして再起動。とりあえず root ではログインできないようにする。

  $ cat /etc/gdm/custom.conf 
  # GDM configuration storage
  
  [daemon]
  
  [security]
  AllowRemoteRoot=false
  
  [xdmcp]
