• Ubuntu18 から、GCJ の権利関係の問題で pdftk が apt で提供されなくなったようだ
• 独自でビルドすればいい

    $ sudo apt install git default-jdk-headless ant libcommons-lang3-java libbcprov-java
    $ git clone https://gitlab.com/pdftk-java/pdftk.git
    $ cd pdftk
    $ mkdir lib
    $ ln -st lib /usr/share/java/{commons-lang3,bcprov}.jar
    $ ant jar
    $ java -jar build/jar/pdftk.jar --help
    $ cp ~/pdftk/build/jar/pdftk.jar /usr/share/java
    

• /usr/local/bin/pdftk を作る。 $@ は、shell script がもらった引数全部

  #!/bin/bash
  
  java -jar /usr/share/java/pdftk.jar $@
  

  # chmod +x /usr/local/bin/pdftk

• 動かしてみる

  $ pdftk -version
  pdftk port to java 3.0.8 a Handy Tool for Manipulating PDF Documents
