インストール †

• Yamaai Tech さんが日本向けのカスタマイズをしてくれているのを利用

  $ cd /tmp
  $ wget http://www.yamaai-tech.com/~masato/Download/squirrelmail-1.4.20-ja-20100310.tar.gz
  $ cd /var/www/html/
  $ sudo tar -xf /tmp/squirrelmail-1.4.20-ja-20100310.tar.gz
  $ sudo ln -s squirrelmail-1.4.20-ja/ squirrelmail

• メッセージの日本語化

  $ cd /tmp
  $ wget http://www.yamaai-tech.com/~masato/Download/squirrelmail.po-20071212.gz
  $ gunzip -d  squirrelmail.po-20071212.gz
  $ sudo mkdir -p /var/www/html/squirrelmail/locale/ja_JP/LC_MESSAGES/
  $ sudo cp /tmp/squirrelmail.po-20071212 /var/www/html/squirrelmail/locale/ja_JP/LC_MESSAGES/squirrelmail.po
  $ cd /var/www/html/squirrelmail/po
  $ sudo ./compilepo ja_JP
  Compiling ../locale/ja_JP/LC_MESSAGES/squirrelmail.po

  ※ compilepo を動かすためには gettext コマンドが必要

  $ sudo yum -y install gettext 

• ファイルの持ち主を apache にしておわり

  $ sudo chown -R apache:apache squirrelmail-1.4.20-ja/

設定 †

• 基本的に SuSE10 の時の 1.4.9の設定 とおなじ
• 1.4.9 から 1.4.20 変更点は、4.General Options の 1.Data Directory と 2.Attachment Directory を ../data に変更するこのだけ

SPAM Filter Plugin †

• http://squirrelmail.org/wiki/SpamFilters
• SPAM Filter プラグインを使おうとすると WARNING! Tell your admin to set the SpamFilters_YourHop? variable. というメッセージが表示される
• plugins/filters/setup.php に、$SpamFilters_YourHop? を設定しておくと、SPAM 認定されたメースのヘッダにその文字列が付加される
