vmnet
仮想ネットワークの設定を変えたいとき
Solaris 10 / Open Solaris が、インストール中にハングアップするんだけど・・・
Guest( Windows )からは Host( Mac ) も LAN ( Internet )も見えるけど、Host( Mac )から Guest( Windows )が見えないとき

vmnet †

vmnet0 (Bridge)
- VM(Virtual Machine) は、LANに直につながる
vmnet1 (Host Only)
- VMWare 内に閉じたネットワーク
  HOST 172.16.227.1
  DHCPでVMに割り振られるアドレス 172.16.227.128-254
- LANには出られない
vment8 (NAT)
- LAN への仮想 GW があるネットワーク
  HOST 172.16.121.1
  仮想Router 172.16.121.2
  仮想DNS Server 172.16.121.2
  仮想Net BIOS(Windows) Server 172.16.121.2
  DHCPでVMに割り振られるアドレス 172.16.121.128-254
- LANに出られる
- Port Forward で、外部からアクセスできるようにもできる

仮想ネットワークの設定を変えたいとき †

現在のところ(VMWare Fusion 3)設定するGUIもついていないので、必要があれば設定ファイルを直接編集する必要がある
- VMNet1 と VMNet8 のネットワークアドレスはインストール時に適当に決められるっぽい
- 編集には root 権限が必要 → sudo vi とかを使う
- 書き込み権限がない場合がある → sudo chmod 644 とかを使う
- IPアドレスの一括置換には、vi で :%s/172.16.121/172.16.143/g とかを使う
- なんか "DO NOT MODIFY" とか書いてあるけど気にしない (本来なら vmware-config-net.pl で自動生成すべき物だが・・・うまくできない)

仮想マシンを全て止める

VMWare自体を止める

Firewallソフトが遮断しているのでは？McAfee?とか・・・
Firewall機能を一時無効にして上手くいくようなら、VMNet8を信頼済みネットワークに設定する
